Circular economy 2.0 for dummies

10–15 person groups formed of students work with companies of other projects. The team is lead by the Circular Business Models research group. If you are interested in joining Circular economy 2.0 contact us!

Deepen your knowledge

You can also learn in other ways than just sitting in lectures. By doing yourself and solving problems you will learn much more than just reading theory from books. Circular economy 2.0 offers many possibilities to improve and deepen your knowledge. You can join courses, projects, innovation camps or hackathons. It is also possible to join us as a trainee. We also offer thesis subjects and research work provided by our cooperative companies.

My REHA experience: Case study related to circular economy in construction and public procurement

At the beginning of the semester, I enrolled to a course of circular economy at TUAS. The teaching method in this course was based on research hatchery that concentrates on multidisciplinary project learning. Circular economy as a topic was habitual to me but the hatchery method was new.

Our REHA experience: project-life can lead to unexpected situations!

Our project assignment came from a private waste management company. The assignment was to collect and analyse data from packaged inbound material, and waste flows of two healthcare units. The client company wanted us to recognise the current practices and bottlenecks of material flow, as well as overall analysis of areas of improvement on their waste management.

My student experience: a two-week intensive course

Cansu started her Erasmus journey in Finland with a two-week intensive course. Before she started her regular courses, she warmed up with the course about Circular Economy.

My REHA experience: a guide for sustainable travel for students and staffs

Caroline is a third year business and administrations student from France. She took part in a Research Hatchery project, the task of which was to provide a guide for sustainable travel for students and staff.

My experience of the RuisH2Ock event

I am a fourth year energy and environmental technology student. I took part in the RuisH2Ock event hosted by Turku University of Applied Sciences. I had a great opportunity to collaborate with TUAS and Solar Water Solutions where I am currently working.
